Mrs. Immerman completed the entire Suzuki teacher training curriculum. She is a member of the esteemed College of Examiners of the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto and examines students in music throughout Canada and the United States. In addition to weekly lessons, adults meet three times a year for a potluck lunch and to perform for each other. Her practical program of study includes one weekly private lesson and a 15 minute computer session at the music theory LAB station. Utilizing the latest educational technology, students study the various aspects of music theory, including notation, rhythm, ear training, history and literature in age-appropriate environments. Curricula are created for each individual student to address their developmental requirements. |
